My name is Dayna English and I have been a full time high school math teacher in New Orleans since 2010.
I am grateful to be the owner and caretaker of this historic cottage in one of the world's most alluring neighborhoods. I've been welcoming guests since 2011, and I love helping people make the most of their time in The Crescent City. La Boheme de Marigny has been a licensed guesthouse in New Orleans for the last 50 years according to city records. We are a proud member of the Professional Inn Keepers Association of New Orleans.
The cottage is clean and comfortable, but definitely not fancy. I am generally available for anything that you might need, but you should always feel that you have the place to yourself. In addition to trying to contribute positively to my home city, I also make every effort to live lightly on this earth, and hope that you do too.
Here are just a few things that some of our guests have had to say after their stay at La Boheme de Marigny:

"Boheme de Marigny is located in a quintessential, enchanting neighborhood. The location just doesn’t get any better. The French Quarter, Frenchmen Street, and the river are all easily accessible, and there is a great breakfast place right on the corner. Tourists can seamlessly blend in and feel the local vibe that makes New Orleans such a special place to visit. Such a great time!" Patty O
"Great location & accommodations! My family of 4 stayed in one cottage & my sister & mother stayed on the other cottages. It was so nice to have our own space, bathrooms and kitchens . Coffee was provided in each cottage as well. We loved the architecture and the neighborhood, and the hosts are so helpful and attentive. We will be back!" Katye P
"Location Location Location! We had a great stay at Boheme de Marigny, my two brothers and I. Every room was well equipped with everything you need from blow dryers to irons. The neighborhood was quiet and peaceful and yet still in the mix of things. Our favorite place to visit in New Orleans was Frenchmen Street, where there was good music everywhere. The place was so close to it but yet safely tucked away from it. Our host was responsive and was there for anything that we needed. We ate breakfast at a really good restaurant just a couple of blocks away. There was street parking, a washer-dryer, the beds were very comfortable, and it was just a fun place to be. We really enjoyed our time here!" Paul N
